Best cookies on this world ,amazing mouthwatering Macrons with richness of almond flour and sweetness of butter cream.
What are Macrons:
Macrons are basically an Italian invention according to food history macrons were made in Italy first but today we call macrons French dish because this dish become famous from France. Macrons have creamy divine flavours in them ,alot of types of macrons like strawberry,chocolate and even pistachio macrons are consumed world wide.

Macron can be customised as savoury also by making inner filling according to savoury ,also you have to put less sugar amount in the basic batter , but i prefer to keep it in sweet deserts. Macrons are famous world wide as in many countries people celebrate a day called as Macron day at 20 march.People think it is very difficult to make them but i think you only need to learn the basic technique and then you will be amazed by your own creation.
Ingredients we need:
For shell:
- 3 large egg whites (100g)
- Alomond Flour (140g)
- Powder sugar (130g)
- Sugar (90g)
- Cream Tartar (quarter t)
- vanilla (optional)
- Food Colouring (optional)
For butter cream:
- 4 sticks of butter( room temperature)
- powdered sugar 900 grams
- vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
How to make it:
Eggs:
separate the egg whites properly according to required amount be careful and use a weight scale for it and set aside.
dry ingredients:
take a chopper and grind the powdered sugar and almond flour and chop, swift it again and again as we want most fine situation.
Batter making:
Take your mixer bowl add in your whites take a separate bowl and measure the granulated sugar in it now mix a bit at low speed now add in your cream of tartar and mix at medium flame,until soft peaks now add in your sugar one spoon at a time this step is very important no need to hurry add one spoon at a time and mix until we can check it by when you turn the bowl over and the batter doesn’t drop, it means it’s perfect , that’s the texture you’re aiming for. at this stage stop mixing and move on to next step.
Mixing dry ingredients:
Mix the dry ingredients carefully and slowly one spoon at a time use cut and fold method and mix until all air release from batter and the batter is smooth also you can do the 8 test take batter on spatula and make an 8 figure it should be clear then its ready.
Baking :
add the batter in piping bag,take a baking tray you can use silicon tray i am using simple tray with butter paper. preheat the oven at 150 C pipe all the macrons on tray tap the tray on shelf to release air bubbles and set them at room temperature before baking for at least hour to reach fine top,now place them in the oven for 15 to to 20 minutes until cooked and take them out.
Final step:
make your buttercream simply by adding butter in mixture beat add sugar and vanilla and mix until you reach the consistency. Leave your macrons to cool down completely now with the help of piping bag add in the cream and make a sandwich with other cookie and that,s it enjoy them with coffee.
Important tips:
- Focus on every test i mentioned the flip test the 8 test to make them perfectly.
- it is necessary to take air bubbles out if you will not do that then your macron will get empty holes in them.
- be careful about all steps i mentioned and you will get amazing results i am sure about it.
