There traditional recipes are very famous world wide. Today i am making a QUICHE LORRAINE it is a pie dish a crusty bottom with a creamy and meaty filling in it collectively a quick and easy dish with a perfect flavour.

Quiche lorraine first introduced in 16th century ,at first in its original and classic version they dont use any cheese but as the time passes the dish become famous world wide as you know cheese can make your dish more rich in flavour,so people start making its fusions and nowadays cheese is also a must part for this fancy and wholesome dish.

Crusty pie base:
You can simply use a store bought pie dough it is more convenient to use and chances of disasters will reduce.but i will tell you an easy dough recipe. take a bowl add flour in it.Take un salted butter and in a cold state dont melt it cut it into small cubes add it to the flour and mix until it will combine with the flour.Add 1 teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of sugar in it. it is a savoury dish but i am adding the sugar it will not make it sugary infact it will give the dough perfect flavour. Now use ice water 4 to 5 tablespoon and kneed it with your palm, dough should be flackey now set aside.

Making the bacon:
Take your amazing bacon. You can use any type you want i am using beef bacon. cut the bacon into strips ,heat up your pan add a tablespoon of butter wait until melt.Now add your bacon and stir until cooked now set aside.Cut an onion and fry until soft in bacon fat and set aside.
Filling preparations :
Take a bowl add 4 eggs in it.Add heavy cream in it add nut meg powder to give it a sharp taste add salt and pepper. whisk them dont overdo it we dont need any form in it. Add a tsp of tobasco sauce in it,and set aside.
Baking the base:
Roll out the dough in thin layer. grease the pan. place the dough and cut the excess. place the butter paper on it add pie weights and keep it in the freezer almost for 20 minutes to set then take the weights out and bake it at 180C for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Assembling and final bake:
take the baked pie add the cooked bacon handsome amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on it add the filling in it. some more cheese for the look and the onions. Now bake it in 375F in the oven until its done. you have to take a knife and poke it in the middle it should come out clean and brown top is also must this will tell you its done.
