Beef ramen-hearty bowl for dinner

Ramen is a type of noodles as well as a whole dish.We call noodles made up of flour and eggs Ramen and similarly if we are making a whole bowl of different flavours using ramen noodles then this bowl is also called as Ramen. There are a huge variety in ramen flavours a lot of them are instant but a bowl of ramen is considered as a main course.Here i am making beef ramen bowl a Chinese dish with lots of hearty flavours in one bowl.

The version i am making is also a fusion of Asian flavours with Chinese flavour. A easy to make full main course bowl of noodles.

Ingredients:

  • 9 cups of water
  • 700 grams of boneless beef
  • 1 onion
  • ginger/ garlic 2 tablespoon (roughly chopped)
  • seseme oil 3 tablespoon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dark soya sauce
  • 3 tablespoon light soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black bean sauce
  • 2 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • lemon zest 1 teaspoon
  • star anise 4
  • cinnamon stick (1)
  • 4 cardamon
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • salt according to taste
  • black pepper 1 teaspoon
  • a pack of noodles
  • 1 boiled egg
  • pak Choi
  • green onion for garnish

How to make it:

Beef cooking:

Take a pressure cooker , add in seseme oil and cook onion, garlic and ginger in it for 2 to 3 minutes.Now add in your boneless beef and fry it a bit now add in your water and tablespoon brown sugar ,1 tablespoon dark soya sauce ,3 tablespoon light soya sauce,1 tablespoon oyster sauce,1 tablespoon black bean sauce ,2 tablespoon chilli sauce ,lemon zest 1 teaspoon ,star anise 4 ,cinnamon stick (1),4 cardamom,1 teaspoon fennel seeds,salt according to taste ,black pepper 1 teaspoon and cover and cook for at least 35 minutes until tender.

cooking noodles:

Now open your cooker and take the beef out (you have to use only big pieces of beef)Take your beef and cut it into thin strips and set aside, Now strain the stock and again cook it for 2 minutes add your pak choi in it for flavours.Take a saucepan and boil your egg, and also cut your garnishes.Now add the noodles in the stock and cook them until done.

Final presentation:

Now take a bowl add in your noodles stock and all the garnishes and put your beef strips on it and that,s it you bowl of happiness in ready to enjoy.
