Okonomiyski is a Japanese egg pan cake with a very different flavours like okonomiyaki sauce,plum picked ginger,bonito flakes and cabbage.
What is Okonomiyaki:
Guys okonomiyaki is a egg pan cake ,or simply you can call it a omelette with lots of Japanese cuisine magical ingredients and flavours in it. Japanese cuisine contain a lot of dishes with wide history Okonomiyaki is basically called as funoyaki in 16,s funoyaki is a sweet version with flour and egg later on with time it converts in mojiyaki it is a savoury version but not that much flavourful and at the end with time it become Okonomiyaki savoury egg pancake with lots of flavours

Things we need:
batter base:
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 tablespoon chicken powder
Other ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 cup green cabbage shredded
- ¼ cup green onion finely chopped
- ¼ cup tenkasu
- 1 Tbsp red pickled ginger (Beni-shoga)
- 3 strips of lamb bacon
- For the toppings:
- Bonito flakes (Katsuobushi)
- Green onion
for sauce:
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (preferably Japanese)
- 1½ tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
How to make it:
Mixing:
Chop all the veggies, add all batter things except veggies like egg ,flour,spices and chicken powder whisk it a bit and add in all veggies.
Cooking:
add oil in the pan add your mixture cook it from one side until golden brown flip it and cook on the other side as well.
Sauce:
you can also use the store bought,but home mad is way better just add in a saucepan all the ingredients i mentioned and Cook until thickened.convert it in the bottle.
Final plating:
place your pan cake in the platter drizzle okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise for creamy flavour on it, i am also adding bonito flakes on it for extra flavour
