Savoury lamb tagine fork tender meat made with nuts and sweet dried apricots.

what is tagine:
Tagine or tajine is traditionally a dish of lamb and also the dish used for its making that pot is also called as tagine. Moroccan cuisine have a lot of variety in food if you are a meat lover then this recipe will give you a dreamy experience.How a tagine pot look like? let me show you:

Mainly the tagines are made strong enough to cook on the stove but nowdays they are un able to bear the heat so if you want to buy then buy carefully ,If you want to cook this in a normal baking dish then it will also results mouthwatering but tagine looks more traditional and gives more attractive flavours.
Things we need:
- Dry rub on lamb:
- Salt & Pepper generously
- Paprika 2 Tablespoon
- Dried Coriander 1/4 cup
- 2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic

- butter 1 tablespoon
- Preheat oven to 200C
- 3Tbs oil in ovenproof dish (clay tagine or large pot)
- 1 red onion
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp dried ginger
- 1 tsp red chili
- 1 TBS tomato paste
- water as required
- 7 dried apricot
- 2 to 4 dates

how to make it:
Marinade lamb:
Take your lamb pieces dont separate its fat just remove a bit the rest of it will add in the flavours in it. add all the spices and marinade it overnight .
Cook the sauce:
take the tagine add 3 Tbs oil in ovenproof dish (clay tagine or large pot), 1 red onion, 1 cinnamon stick,1 tsp dried ginger ,1 tsp red chilli,1 TBS tomato paste,water as required,7 dried apricot, 2 to 4 dates.fry the onion in oil then cinnamon stick, ginger then tomato paste and cook add water in it until diped and marinated lamb in it cook for 20 minutes on stove.
Final cooking:
now put this in the pre heated oven for 2 hours at 200C garnish it a bit more apricots for garnish and corriender and that,s it amazing tangine is ready to serve , eat it with chapati , bread or rice and enjoy
