Let,s make classic Churros, crispy on the outer side and soft from inner side dipped in a very overwhelming chocolate sauce.
What are churros:
Churros are basically a Spanish snack,traditionally it is made without eggs but mostly chefs add eggs all over the world.I am going to make a shoo for it ,Shoo is a basic pastry dough recipe made by adding butter in boiling water and cook it with sugar and salt before mixing in the flour.It is used to make many bakery items. We need a smooth creamy dough for churros as you know churros are fry item and an amazing all time favourite snack.

Churros are Chocolate feature a mildly sweet, buttery dough with subtle vanilla notes, perfectly balanced by the deep, slightly bitter richness of the chocolate sauce.
Ingredients:
for dough:
- 240 grams of flour
- 170 grams of butter ( room temperature)
- 2 cups of water (room temperature)
- 100 grams sugar
- 2 tsp of salt
- almost 6 eggs (just to set consistency)
- 1 table spoon of vanilla extract
For dip:
- 500 grams ( sweetened dark chocolate)
- cinnamon powder 1 tsp
- 3 to 4 tablespoon of cream
How to make it:
Making of shoo:
Add measured all purpose flour in a bowl , take a sauce pan cut your butter in pieces so it can melt fast add it in the saucepan add water in it salt,sugar dont add flour and vanilla essence at this stage cook it until properly melt and then add in your flour and turn off the flame.Mix it and again turn on the flame and cook the dough for 2 to 4 minutes by continuously stirring it and set aside.
Dough Mixing:
Take mixer adjust your paddle add in your cool dough , mix it a bit after that crack your eggs in a separate bowl add in until you reach the smooth and silky not too liquid consistency when you add in spatula and take it out the dough should fall add in your vanilla extract and that,s it convert it in your piping bag with a star nozzle.
Frying:
To fry perfect churros we have to keep an eye on temperature of oil if you have a thermometer then it will be at 175 to 190 C. but if you have not then you have to take care of the flame we want medium temperature for the first and the last churros. Heat up the oil add in your churros one by one and cook for 4 minutes each or until golden brown on each side.
Cinnamon powder:
Simply take a bowl add fine caster sugar and cinnamon powder about 2 teaspoon in half cup and mix. Cool a bit your fried churros and coat them properly in this mixture.
Dip:
Make the dip take a bowl add in your chopped chocolate and cream with cinnamon powder and place in the microwave until melt and well combine and enjoy with churros.

- you can replace or add any type off dippings you want like blueberry dip or any thing else.
